The Bravos Nation
The Bravos are based on a combination of hard work, versatility, and creativity. The music production group, which speciliazes in EDM, has landed placements on major television networks in addition to placements with renowned recording artists.
The launch of The Bravos website adapts the production groups online presence for today’s globally connected audience. It combines an eye catching design with a media content-first approach, and a particular focus on mobile users.
Mobile First Approach
After studying The Bravos social channels and analytics I discovered that the majority of the groups fan interactions happen via mobile devices. As the data showed most fans would be entering the site via social channels, I decided a mobile first approach would be the most effective strategy in this case.
Streaming audio diectly to their fans was of high importance to The Bravos. When asked, The Bravos stated that the focus of the website should be centered around the streaming of audio, the cataloging of each release, and a secondary focus on mobile commerce with a merchandise based shop.
Custom CMS Solution
TheBravosNation.com was developed using a combination of HTML5, PHP, and Wordpress on the backend. A custom CMS solution was designed to allow The Bravos to easily upload and catalog new releases on site with ease, while also allowing the team to control the release and distribution of their own music.
Using the custom CMS, via desktop or mobile device, The Bravos have the ability to upload new material and share with their fans at any given moment. Putting this power directly in the hands of The Bravos themselves allows them to release material on site in sync with any 3rd party marketing and or promotion.
The Bravos have quickly arrived on the music scene thanks to a loyal following and growing fan base. With that said, The Bravos made it clear that they wanted to establish a small web shop in which they could begin to directly sell their own merchandise.
Being fully-commerce enabled, The Bravos now have the ability to upload and sell new merchandise directly to fans without any 3rd party sharing of profits. With a fully intergrated backend the team can easily track and manage all sales/orders.
